I may not be able to fly all the way to the other side of the world (i.e. NYC) for Dominique Ansel’s cronuts* (croissant + doughnut), but I think my sister did a darn good job at making homemade cronuts* topped with homemade lemon curd! The outer layer was crisp, the layers inside were flaky and buttery and soft at the same time and the lemon curd had just the right amount of tartness to offset the taste of oil. Yum!
